Description of building:
Row of three-storey brick built Victorian terraced houses. Full height bay windows with front gabled roof bay and decorative timber barge boards. Upper-storey has Venetian style three-bay window with keystone. Tiled slate roof. Stucco window and door surrounds. Sash windows throughout. Paired porches with glazed and panelled front doors. These form a group with nos. 283–289 and nos.1–21 Statham Grove.
Very good original condition, no. 271 has shop unit at ground floor (cafè) and no. 281 has brickwork overpainted in white.
