A pair of semi-detached Victorian villas with side entrances, c.1840s. Shallow hipped roof with central chimneys and simple eaves cornice, and raised brick dentil cornice beneath the eaves to the front elevation. A pilaster and quoins in the same raised brick decoration forms a vertical highlight between the houses and to the corners of the building. Windows to the front are framed with moulded surrounds, and decorative consoles to the ground floor, however, the windows to no. 18 have been replaced. The boundary wall to no. 18 is constructed in similar brick with railings to the front. There is no wall to the front of no. 20. This pair was probably built in conjunction with nos 22-36 (even) as the decorative elements such as the raised brick cornices and window mouldings are the same.
