This consists of two pairs of semi-detached yellow stock brick houses with pitched roofs. Two storeys with a raised basement. Each pair has a door at each end with two windows per house on the ground floor and three per house on the first floor. Nos. 68-70 have replacement red-tiled roofs and single pane sash windows with brick lintels. The front doors have small semi-circular lights under brick arches. Nos. 72-74 have grey slate roofs, six over six sash windows with brick lintels and rectangular decorative lights over the doors, which have white stucco surrounds with pilasters and cornice. The basements of Nos. 72-74 are white rendered.
Although similar to many Victorian semi-detached houses in area, both pairs ahve been restored in a sympathetic manner although Nos.68-70 look almost newly built. time will make the 'newness' of the renovation disappear. Important in the context of the conservation area.
