This is a two-storey school building built in a mixture of stock and red brick. It lies roughly east-west in two matching halves under steeply pitched slate roofs with extended brick chimney stacks. There are prominent gables at the east and west ends, finished with plaster, and a dormer window on the north side again with prominent plastered gable. All facades have large rectangular windows, those in gables have stone moulding above. The ridges of roofs and dormers are finished in red tiles, and there are some remaining external walls enclosing a playground with a gated entrance. It is part of the Rushmore Primary School complex which lies either side of Rushmore Road, with Chatsworth Road to the east.
